This is a compilation of all my random notes along with information I’ve pulled from the Mods Haven Discord and is no way meant to be seen in any official capacity. I don’t create any of the tools mentioned nor is any of the information posted corroborated by any of the tools creators. Things could be wrong, out-of-date, or not work at all. I move between lots of different projects and tend to forget everything about how to work with my previous projects so I like to jot everything down. I thought it might be useful to share my notes publicly and try to clean them up for others like me who are lazy and don’t want to watch a 6 hour outdated video. Speaking of outdated, Modding Dragons Dogma 2 is still in it’s infancy as of the creation of this guide so new tools and methods are developing every day so be sure to do your own research where possible. [ ] MDF comparisons with gifs (metallic up and down as gif/changing color/removing dirt etc)(takes a long ass time and im busy sorry)
[ ] ChaiNNer template for converting any texture to DD2 format (Done but kinda overkill just use photoshop every textures dif)
[ ] Fur-masks explained (they use style numbers not mesh numbers, find the mesh, find the style id in swapdata or with the id’s in the sidebar)
